The favorite of cruising and racing sailors, Chesapeake Bay, the nation's largest estuary (295 miles long), is ideally situated along the Mid-Atlantic Coast, offering a long season & ideal conditions to begin or to advance all aspects of seamanship. Sail from Annapolis. Learn & perfect skills on peaceful creeks, busy harbors & historic river ports: North to Baltimore, the Magothy, Sassafras, or Chester Rivers; east to St. Michaels; south toward the Potomac & Norfolk.	LiveAboard Cruising Courses sail 7, 5 and 3 days. Passagemaking Courses sail coastal, through the night, offshore - C/TNT/O - out of sight of land (weather permitting). Daytime only courses, for beginning sailors, are taught on board & return to the dock at 4PM each day.	April - October

Passagemaking Courses sail coastal, through the night, offshore - C/TNT/O - out of sight of land (weather permitting). ***************** Both LiveAboard Coastal Cruising courses and passages sail from and return to Biscayne Bay. Build New England sea sense under light & heavy weather conditions using a full complement of navigation tools, while playing dodgem with lobster pots.	7, 5 & 3-day LiveAboard Learning Cruises sail mid-May thru September. Cape Cod is a strong possibility on 7-day LiveAboard Cruising courses.. Daytime only courses, for beginning sailors, are taught on board & return to the dock at 4 p.m. each day. Maine - Customized courses in Maine are offered for 2-6 participants in July & August for advancing sailors eager to sail the rugged Maine coast.	May - September

We sail from Vancouver, BC's Granville Islands, July to October, on 7-day and 5-day LiveAboard Learning Cruises, anchoring by wooded islands, waterfalls & tiny Victorian resorts.	We sail with a backdrop of snow-capped mountains & orca whales in our wake. Variable winds & strong currents/tides offer excellent training in the use of tide tables. Itineraries vary, based on instructor/crew consideration of weather & wind conditions, learning needs, learning experience & personal preference.	July - September
